About you 

To be successful in this role you need to have several years of working experience within the logistics field as well as university degree within logistics or similar. Experience from wood based business is beneficial as is experience of living and working in Russia. Furthermore you need to have a customer focus and the ability to create customer focus among the co-workers.

About the job 

As a Supply Chain Manager at IKEA Industry Vyatka you will get the chance to be a part of creating and maintaining long lasting relations with our customers. 

You are responsible for purchase, sales, production planning, the warehouse and external logistics. Another part of your responsibilities is to be the link between the plant, IKEA Purchasing organization in Russia and our central division for purchase in terms of need analysis and requirements of raw materials. 

You are a member of the management team and report to the Managing director Among the common focus areas are sales & supply, safety, quality, availability Liaison with IKEA Purchase Division regarding raw material security and availability Purchase planning, cost management and rationalization Sales planning and development of furniture, briquettes and other products to IKEA and external customers Lead and develop the whole supply chain department towards agreed goals and targets Lead and develop the whole supply chain department towards agreed goals and targets The assignment is to develop, execute and follow up business goals in line with our people, sustainability and quality strategies.

As a Supply Chain manager you will lead the team of Sales/ Purchase/ Planning/ Logistics departments based on IKEA values and in accordance with the IKEA People Strategy. This includes leading the team to perform and deliver outstanding customer value and to work with team development.
